End of Season Wind Up
On behalf of the Dunsborough Basketball Club committee, a huge thank you to everyone who made this season another success! This includes players, parents, managers, coaches, sponsors, and our dedicated committee members.
We celebrated the season's conclusion with the BABA Grand Finals on Saturday 23 March, followed by our Club Wind Up on Sunday 24 March. Congratulations to all our Grand Finalists and award winners!
At the Club Wind Up, we recognised our Finals teams, as well as coaches handing out their coach of the year awards, and medals for the U10s. We also recognised our club person and club coach of the year, voted by the members.
Wendy Francis - Club Person of the Year
Wendy has been a pillar of the club for the past 8 years, with all three of her sons playing here. She's tirelessly served as a coach, team manager, uniform coordinator, and committee member, always the first to lend a helping hand.
Lydia Smith - Club Coach of the Year
A longstanding coach and committee member, Lydia is a role model for our young female athletes. Her willingness to help out on grading day, team selection night, and throughout the season is invaluable.
We also want to acknowledge Tarryn Carter's incredible service as our Club Treasurer for the past few years. Her financial expertise has been instrumental in our growth during a time of significant club development. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication as she steps down from this role.
Finally, a big thank you to Pendrey Rural Supplies for sponsoring the U14 Trophy and the Dunsborough Lions Club for running the BBQ on the day.
