Important Fixture Information

Take note of the following from BABA regarding each age group.

    • Teams have been split into groups based on their school years - Year 2, Year 3 and a mixed group for the boys.

    • We are releasing the first 3 weeks of their fixtures to start, with the remaining rounds to be released at the conclusion of those 3 weeks.

    • Teams will start regular season games from Round 1 with no grading for this group.

    • For the first 3 weeks teams will be playing in a grading format. Teams will play 2x 15 minute games against 2 different opponents each week.

    • The fixture for this will be released 1 week at a time to allow the grading committee the chance to put particular teams against each other to ensure grading is as detailed as possible.

    • Please check the fixture carefully as you will be playing 2 games each night.

    • At the conclusion of the 3 grading weeks, teams will be put into grades and the regular round fixtures will be released.

    • Grading results will not count towards regular season ladders.

    • As only 10 teams are in this age group the BABA Grading and Competitions Committee decided that the most sustainable way to ensure a viable competition was to keep this as a 10 team group.

    • This means this age group starts their regular season in week 1 and their will be no grading of this age group.

    • Finals Format: BABA has decided that for this age group that they will still have an "A" and "B" finals series, this means at the end of the season teams 1-4 on the ladder will play in the "A" finals and teams 5-8 will play in the "B" finals. BABA feels this ensures all teams have something to play for during the season.

    • For the fixtures for the first three weeks for the season, all games will be played at NCC in Dunsborough. This is to allow the grading of the U14 boys to take place at GLC due to the size of that group.

    • From round 4 all games will revert back to the playing nights chart sent to clubs earlier this month.

    • We are releasing the first 3 weeks of their fixtures to start, with the remaining rounds to be released at the conclusion of those 3 weeks.

    • Teams will start regular season games from Round 1 with no grading for this group.

    • Fixtured game times for the first 3 weeks are slightly different to the playing night sheet, this is to help facilitate grading of the juniors. Times will revert back to the playing nights chart from week 3.

    • Due to only 4 mens teams nominating ‘A’ grade, the Mens A grade competition will only be 4 teams.

    • With low numbers nominating C grade BABA have pooled them into the lower B grade competition.

    • We are releasing the first 3 weeks of their fixtures to start, with the remaining rounds to be released at the conclusion of those 3 weeks.

    • As only 8 teams are in this age group the BABA Grading and Competitions Committee decided that the most sustainable way to ensure a viable competition was to keep this as a 8 team group.
